Aggies on the rise after Florida upset; Longhorns lose ranked status

Another wild weekend across the country forced another shakeup for local teams trying to remain in the AP Top 25.

No. 21 Texas A&M scored a last-minute upset over No. 4 Florida, and No. 22 Texas fell to Oklahoma in the annual Red River Shootout at the Cotton Bowl while No. 18 SMU stood idly by on a bye week as all the action went down.

Here’s a look at how the new AP poll, released Sunday, stacks up now:
